MLK Day of Service
2025: Emergency Food Network
This year, for our MLK Day of Service, members of Do Something Already and some of our dedicated supporters volunteered with the Emergency Food Network. In just two hours, we repackaged 2,400 pounds of pasta for distribution to food banks across the Puget Sound area. It felt incredible to roll up our sleeves and do something already!
2024: Supporting the Sharing Shed
In 2024, Do Something Already helped the community in South Park re-open their mutual aid station on the corner of SE 8th and S Southern.
Delivering a car full of non-perishables, we and many others in the community helped to fill the shelves within 30 minutes of it being erected.
