What We Do
Do Something Already promotes transformational initiatives to advance equity, opportunity, and justice for LGBTQ+ people in communities across the Pacific Northwest.
The collective uses the tools of art and engagement to support and fund our featured initiatives, as well as additional activities throughout the year, working towards supporting an environment of joy, caring, positivity, optimism and understanding.

MLK Day of Service
Providing volunteer opportunities to better community.
From feeding families to providing holiday gifts, the DSA Gives is there to help support the community during the holiday season.
Glitter Grants support queer artists ready to make things happen, offering $500 community-backed grants to help bring public-facing events to life, with up to four awards available in 2026 through the support of Kendall’s DJ & Event.
Providing LGBTQ+ youth access to funds to promote art, music, and theatre endeavors.
Born as a DIY ’zine after the 2007–2008 financial crisis, Hard Times fostered radical creativity and community in anxious times, and now, inspired by Do Something Already, it’s being revived as a tangible, people-powered space for connection, collective care, and creative freedom in a hyper-digital world.
The collective will also provide fiscal-sponsorships, as well as produce events that support our mission. Help us to better support the community by making a donation.
